NHC Says 40% Chance Of Cyclone Off Florida Keys

A low-pressure system near the Florida Keys has a 40% chance of developing into a tropical cyclone over the next 48 hours.

The area located just east of the upper Florida Keys is producing a large area of disorganized cloudiness and showers.

According to Reuters, the system is expected to move near or over Florida late Friday.

When it emerges back over the Atlantic conditions may be right for tropical storms or cyclones.
