GRAPHIC OF LEADERBOARD STORY: When he turns up in Germany for a rally Ott Tanak has made a habit of winning and it was no different at Rally Germany on Sunday (August 25).
Securing his third Rally Germany in three years, Tanak led Toyota to a clean sweep of the podium.
The Estonian's fellow Toyota drivers, Kris Meeke of Northern Ireland and Finn Jari-Matti Latvala, finished second and third respectively.
Tanak came in 20.8 seconds faster than Meeke, and 36 seconds ahead of Latvala.
Tanak remains on course for his first Drivers' Championship and currently sits top of the leaderboard on 205 points.
His chief rivals for the title Hyundai's Thierry Neuville of Belgium and Citroen's Sebastien Ogier of France struggled, finishing fifth and eighth respectively.
Neuville is now on 170 points with six-time champion Ogier on 163.
