France’s Emmanuel Macron invited a surprise guest to this year’s G7 summit.

Iran’s Foreign Minister Javad Zarif arrived to the summit, catching Trump off guard.

According to CNN, Macron pushed President Donald Trump to soften his stance on Iran.

Trump responded:"I know Emmanuel means well, as do all others, but nobody speaks for the United States but the United States itself." Macron then surprised people by saying the countries have agreed on a “joint communication and a course of action.
