Turkish President Attends MAKS Aviation Show In Russia

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan was Russian President Vladimir Putin’s guest of honor.

According to Business Insider, Erdogan attended the opening of the MAKS aviation show outside Moscow.

He got special treatment, being allowed to see inside Russia’s newest fighter jet, the Su-57.

Turkey’s military ties with Russia have been a cause of concern for NATO and the U.S. Turkey recently invested in Russia’s S-400 air-defense system, despite warnings to not do so.
