Veteran director Brian De Palma may be 78 but the "Carrie" and "Scarface" filmmaker has no intention of stepping away from behind the camera just yet, working on a horror film inspired by the scandal engulfing Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein.
Some 70 women have accused Weinstein of sexual misconduct dating back decades.
Once among Hollywood's most powerful producers, Weinstein has denied the allegations and said any sexual encounters were consensual.
Last month, he pleaded not guilty to a new indictment as his criminal trial was pushed back to January, in a case where prosecutors have accused him of rape and predatory sexual assault.
He has pleaded not guilty to five criminal charges in the earlier indictment.
In an interview with Reuters during the Venice Film Festival, where De Palma revisited his career in a masterclass, the director spoke about sexual misconduct in Hollywood.
