Antonio Brown Can't Play For New England In Week 1

Antonio Brown officially split from the Oakland Raiders on Saturday, and joined the New England Patriots just hours after his release.

The Patriots face off against the Steelers in Week 1 of the NFL season, but Brown won't be able to play against his former team.

Brown's absence Week 1 is due to a technicality in the NFL's weekly schedule, as Brown did not officially become a Patriot until after rosters for Sunday were already essentially locked.
