Priti Patel: Police cadets were not politicised in Boris Johnson speech

Home Secretary Priti Patel has denied police cadets were politicised after a young female recruit fainted behind Boris Johnson during a speech in Yorkshire on September 5.

The Chief Constable of West Yorkshire Police John Robins later said he was disappointed they had been used as a backdrop, following a lengthy delay to Mr Johnson taking the stage.
