What an incredible story that chevalo wilsondebriano has as a member of the new york city fire department as a paramedic and that was 18 years ago today when he was there as they received the call at 8:46 am on september 11 of 2001.
He was about one hour away from the scene and at another borough.
He arrived after the first tower had collapsed.
Immediately he began to treat other firefighters as he felt the city begin to rubble under phim.
He will never forget looking up at the second tower and watching it fall and what looked like slow motion as you heard before.
He is now honored with the survivor's medal and lost people close to him on these attacks on 9/11 and coworkers on the same shift he was.
Today he is here in charleston at mount pleasant with the 9/1 silent walk honoring all lives lost .
He says this is a way to keep 9/11 at the forefront and never forget.

The fact that the people at the charleston area come together and embrace the first responders and feel the kinship among each other is something that is unbelievable.
