Longtime political commentator and journalist cokie roberts has died.

A-b-c news' announced her death yesterday.

During her long career... roberts won countless awards ... was inducted into the broadcasting and cable hall of fame' ... and was named a "living legend" by the library of congress back in 2008.

She was 75 years old.
