Twenty-Three States Sue Trump Administration

Twenty-three states sued Trump Administration’s ruling that federal law trumps Californian laws.

According to Reuters, California tried to set strict tailpipe emission standards and zero emission vehicle mandates.

Now the states are trying to get a court order that blocks the U.S. Transportation Department’s decision.

The department said federal law sets state and local regulation of the vehicle fuel economy.
