Corbyn calls on Johnson to resign during conference speech

Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn has called on Boris Johnson to resign after the Supreme Court ruled the government’s prorogation of Parliament was unlawful.

Opening his speech to the party's annual conference in Brighton, Mr Corbyn said the prime minister will "never shut down our democracy or silence the voices of the people".
