US Senators Ask Big Companies Like Walmart To Stop Selling Tobacco Products

Six Democratic U.S. senators asked several big companies to stop selling tobacco products.

These include Walmart Inc., Walgreen Boots Alliance Inc., Rite Aid Corp and Dollar General Corp.

According to Reuters, the senators cited a “public health crisis” related to the use of e-cigarette products.

Vape products have been under fire for marketing to the youth by promoting flavored e-cigarettes.

Additionally, there has been an outbreak of vaping related illnesses causing damage to the lungs and leading to death.
