Alabama A&M Wins Homecoming Game in Overtime
First homecoming win under head coach Connell Maynor

Alabama a&m was one of the few alabama college football teams to come away with a win this past weekend.

And what better time to win than on homecoming, right?

This was the first homecoming win for a&m under coach connell maynor.

The bulldogs pulled off the big 35-28 win over southerwestern athletic conference opponent texas southern in overtime.

The tigers erased a 15 point second half defict to push the game into o-t, but quarterback aqeel glass connected to abdul-fatai ibrahim in the bonus quarter to secure a&m's win.

"it was electric, you know.

All the fans were there, the whole student body, you know.

It was a great crowd.

Any time you throw a touchdown pass it's great, but especially in overtime, and basically the game winner it's even better."

It really feels good knowing it's homecoming, so winning that game just makes us feels good and we did it for them."
