Mike Pence To Urge Turkey To Stop Attack Against Kurdish Fighters

Vice President Mike Pence will urge Turkey to stop its offensive against Kurdish fighters in northeast Syria.

This comes after President Donald Trump threatened heavy sanctions over the operation.

According to Reuters, Turkey’s attack has been going on for a week and has created a humanitarian crisis in Syria.

Not only have 160,000 civilians fled their homes but there are reports of Islamic State fighters escaping Kurdish jails.
