Students at madison college are exploring a new type of learning in the first of its kind virtual reality classroom.
For this semester's digital innovations class...students are plugging in to what their teacher steve noll says may be the future of classrooms. with a headset and two hand controllers....st udents meet in a virtual room.
They can do so from anywhere in the world where there's wifi.
So for students who are sick or physically unable to make it to class...nolls says it's a way for them to still participate.
(((steve noll, marketing professor, madison college"the idea of kind of taking something they're already comfortable with, and then turning it into an educational tool, that's kind of what a technical college should be doing."))) students are actively giving feedback on their experience.
Noll says it allows students to put themselves into any sort of interactive experience..
