Boris Johnson welcomes Brexit Party decision not to stand in seats won by Tories in 2017

Boris Johnson has welcomed Nigel Farage's decision not to stand Brexit Party candidates in the 317 seats won by the Conservative Party in the 2017 election.

The Prime Minister said the move shows that his is the only party that will ensure the UK leaves the EU.

Mr Johnson was speaking in Wolverhampton, where he attended an Armistice Day service earlier in the day.
