Kay...every year on november 11th, hundreds gather here at the national cemetery to remember the wars that have scarred our past and the bravery of the men and women who fought them.
Many of them were here as the ceremony got underway at 11 a.m.
There are 22 million living americans who served our nation in uniform.
All of those in the tri-state regional were invited to come today.
They joined the families and friends of veterans...and the widows of those who have gone on.
The cemetery staff raised 208 american flags which once draped the casket of a deceased veteran.
The american legion post 95 band performed....and the choo choo chorus provided traditional songs and melodies.
