Top Republican on impeachment panel reads transcript of Donald Trump and Ukraine president phone call

On the second day of the Donald Trump impeachment hearings Republican politician Devin Nunes began his remarks by calling them "spectacles” for Democrats to “advance their operation to topple a duly elected president." Just as the hearing was opening, the White House released its rough transcript of an earlier call Trump had with Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskiy that was largely congratulatory.
