Pence Aide Labels Trump's Ukraine Interactions 'Inappropriate' And 'Irregular'

Witnesses are shedding light on President Donald Trump's order earlier this year to halt military aid to Ukraine.

Trump's interactions with the US ally are at the center of the impeachment inquiry against Trump.

Two transcripts that House impeachment investigators released on Saturday show depositions from Jennifer Williams. Business Insider reports Williams is a special adviser on Europe and Russia to Vice President Mike Pence.

Williams testified that Trump's efforts to persuade Ukraine to examine his political rivals were "unusual and inappropriate." Longtime OMB official Mark Sandy also testified Saturday.

He said the White House's decision to freeze aid was "highly irregular."
