Leonardo DiCaprio Denies Financing Amazon Fires: Accusation By Brazilian President

Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro claimed, without evidence, that actor Leonardo DiCaprio is financing the fires that are ravaging the Amazon rainforest.

Bolsonaro took aim at the environmentally active actor amid other jabs at advocacy organizations that he has accused of setting fires to attract donations.

A charity backed by DiCaprio previously pledged $5 million to the forest, but the actor denied any donations going to the organizations targeted by Bolsonaro.
