Her management company, Dimberg Jernberg, confirmed her death in a statement, reflecting on her “grand musical legacy.”.

Born in 1958, Fredriksson first achieved fame as a solo artist in Sweden before forming Roxette with Per Gessle in 1986.
The duo achieved international fame with their single “The Look,” which reached the top spot on the ‘Billboard’ Hot 100 chart in 1989.
Their 1987 single, “It Must Have Been Love,” also became successful in 1990, after being featured on the ‘Pretty Woman’ soundtrack.
In a statement, Gessle reflected on his 40-year friendship with Fredriksson, calling her an “outstanding musician” and a “master of the voice.”.
