Watch as a Nashville mom reacts in an excitedly over-the-top way to a Baby Yoda hoodie Christmas present from her adult son.
The adorable video, filmed at home in Nashville on December 30, shows the mother unwrapping the present and explaining: "The first gift that my son [21-year-old Seth] has ever, legit, bought for me, on his own, with no help." After unwrapping the black hoodie and seeing the design on it, she screams in delight, "Oh it's Baby Yoda!" before running over to Seth, hugging him and exclaiming, "I LOVE Baby Yoda!" She continues on camera: "Oh my gosh!

The clip was originally posted on TikTok with the caption: "I usually get my mom scented candles every year, but this year I knew there was a certain 'Star Wars' character that she loves so I had to get creative." The filmer later told Newsflare: "My dad usually tells me what to get my mom but this year I came up with my own original idea for a present for her." The so-called Baby Yoda character features in the forthcoming Disney+ series "The Mandalorian" although he is nameless in the series.
Creator Jon Favreau has reportedly said the lovable little character is not actually a baby Yoda.
"The series timeline takes place after 'Return of the Jedi,'" Favreau told USA Today.
"And fans of the original trilogy will remember that Yoda not only passes away but actually disappears.
So Yoda exists as a Force Ghost."
