Elizabeth Warren held a rally in Brooklyn on Monday, January 7th.

She debuted a new surrogate, former candidate Julian Castro.

The crowd was jubilant.

But, as the Atlantic points out, Warren's support is waning and her backers are nervous she will implode.

I’m petrified,” Brent Lomas, a 33-year-old who handles communications for a nonprofit.

At the rally Warren saw her some of her fiercest allies lose faith.

During the rally, a person in the crowd shouted, “Mayor Pete!”
