Scores of anti-government protesters gathered outside a Paris theatre attended by French President Emmanuel Macron on Friday night (January 17th).

Footage showed a line of police protecting the Bouffes du Nord theatre in the 10th arrondissement of the city as protester chanted slogans against Macron.

According to reports, journalist Taha Bouhafs was arrested after attempting to enter the theatre.
