Conor McGregor needed only 40 seconds to defeat Donald Cerrone in his eagerly anticipated UFC return in Las Vegas.
McGregor, fighting for the first time in 15 months at UFC 246 at the T-Mobile Arena, bloodied Cerrone's nose in the opening few seconds of their welterweight bout with a couple of unorthodox shoulder strikes.
Conor McGregor has paid tribute to his UFC rival Khabib Nurmagomedov, who hasannounced he is retiring from the octagon. Twice-retired UFC superstar Conor McGregor was collared in Corsica on Saturday and accused of attempted sexual assault. According to Newser, the 32-year-old is no stranger to legal run-ins. In 2019 alone, he was sued for assault and battery, charged with assault, and investigated on multiple accusations of sexual assault. McGregor's been cruising the Mediterranean on his yacht with fiancee Dee Devlin, and apparently lost his cool at a bar on Thursday.
A small American automaker has just secured the title of world's fastest production car. SSC North America announced Monday that their Tuatara hypercar reached an average speed of 316.11 mph. According to CNN, the record-breaking feat came during two dashes outside Las Vegas. The vehicle was tested on a seven-mile stretch of a Nevada highway on Saturday. The car also reached the highest speed ever achieved on a public road, at 331.15 mph.
