FINISHED PAINTING OF KOALA STORY: An artist and illustrator from Australia has created a painting of a koala using a gum leaf burnt in the recent bushfires to help raise money for a local wildlife rescue organisation.
Cindy Lane filmed the process and posted the video online.
As Lane explained to Reuters, thanks to her paintings, she has managed to raise approximately A$3000 for WIRES, the organisation, which rehabilitate and preserve Australian wildlife.
