Chico police are investigating a shooting at a house party near Warner Street, that left on man injured.
Police are investigating a shooting that happened during a house party last night.
It happened near west second avenue and warner street shortly after midnight.
Officers arrived to find people leaving a house party, they say party-goers denied hearing any gunshots.
But shortly after police left the scene, a 20- year-old male arrived at the enloe medical center suffering from a gunshot wound and non- life threatening injuries.
We spoke with neighbors who were in the area at the time.
"i heard a gunshot saw the flash, saw people fighting it makes you nervous you never know whats gonna happen if you go to a party you should be aware of your surroundings and protect yourself."
The victim is expected to be okay.
