In celebration of black history month, students at purdue fort wayne were treated to a free a workshop dedicated to hair.in recent years women of color have turned away from using chemicals to straighten their hair and have been embracing their natural curls.

Just this past summer, states like michigan, illinois, wisconsin and ohio have implemented laws that ban hair discrimination.
