Coronavirus May Be Long Warned 'Disease X,' Experts Say According to Bloomberg, the World Health Organization (WHO) warned of a mysterious illness, 'Disease X,' that could spark an international contagion.
In the wake of the coronavirus and its global devastation, a WHO emergency committee member said that the virus may be the first to meet the criteria of 'Disease X.'
Marion Koopmans, via 'Express.co.uk' More than 78,000 people in China have been infected with the virus in less than three months after it was first discovered.
More than 2,300 have been killed.
The disease has also spread to South Korea, Iran, Italy and the United States.
