Tense moment isolated Hong Kong police officer points gun as he is surrounded by protesters

Hong Kong's streets descended into violence again as protesters and police clashed violently on the six-month anniversary that authorities stormed Prince Edward subway station and made arrests.

On Saturday (February 29), a local journalist came across an isolated policeman who was being targeted with various projectiles, including water bottles, in Sai Yeung Choi Street South.

The policeman took out his gun but did not fire in tense scenes.

Eventually, the policeman managed to escape and rejoin riot police colleagues on Nathan Road.

Two protesters who had been pursuing the police officer were arrested.
