Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin refused to release President Donald Trump’s tax returns to the House Ways and Means Committee.
According to CNN, Rep.
Bill Pascrell laid into Mnuchin for not releasing the tax documents.
He accused the secretary of “staggering lies” in his reasons to not cooperate with Congress.
Mnchuin said he found Pascrell’s words “offensive” and was relying on legal counsel.
Mnuchin told Pascrell he’s not breaking the law and said a judge will determine what he has to do.
