Students create scientific inventions for STEM Expo in Glenn County

On Wednesday night, the Glenn County Fairgrounds will host the Science, Technology, Engineering and Math expo.

Today - the glenn county office of education is hosting a science, technology, engineering and math expo with its students.

Doors open at 5:30 tonight and last for two hours.

Organizers are calling this an alternative science fair.

You can expect to see at least 200 projects from 3rd to 12th graders.

There will be inventions, rude goldberg machines and science fiction writing.

Something not seen in previous science fairs here.

Some students will also be competing for six spots at the california science and engineering fair that's in los angeles in april.

The event will also have raffle prizes to numerous science museums in northern california.
