Army disinfects Spanish hospital during coronavirus outbreak

The military was called in on Tuesday (March 24) to disinfect the main hospital in the southern Spanish city of Almeria.

Members of the Military Emergencies Unit (UME) were seen wiping down lifts and other surfaces inside and outside Torrecárdenas hospital.

Official figures show that 2,696 people have now died in the country from coronavirus and close to 40,000 are infected.
