Nearly 66á thousand cases are confirmed in the u.s. ... resulting in more than 900 deaths.

There are 287 positive cases in minnesota... and 145 in the hawykeye state.

There are 21 cases in olmsted county.

Dodge and fillmore county each have 3 cases.

Mower county has 6... in iowa cerro gordo county has 2 cases... and hancock has 3.

Each state has 1 confirmed death.

Governor tim walz has issued a "stay at home order" for minnesotans... going into effect friday at midnight á and lasting two weeks.xxx executive order 20á20 directs minnesotans to stay home and limit movements outside of their home á beyond essential needs.

The move comes after models released today by the minnesota department of health predicted more than 70á thousand minnesotans could die from covidá19 if no action were taken.

The ceo and general manager of people's food coop tells kimt news 3 they've seen 25 to 50 percent growth on some days compared to the previous year.

Every time an order is issued... an uptick occurs... keeping the foot traffic very busy.

"the first thing we know is our curbside pick up service will increase, that's definitely been ramping up, and we'll see people do that more and more which we love because we want to reduce the number of people coming in close contact.

I think what will happen is we'll have surges every other day or so as people move through some of their stock."
