Daviess county leading the area with 22 cases so far?

While other tr?state communities sitting below seven.

Almost every aspect of life has been affected by this emerging pandemic?

And it's hurting people right here at home.

Covi?19 cases across the tr?state continue to ris?heading toward 50 positive results.

Vanderburgh county saw the most increas?

"the three tests in the last two days we've received back are really reflective of what was really going on 10 days to two weeks ago.

We can really almost expect that if things kinda transpire the way it has in other indiana counties, that we're going to see that same kind of uptake here in another week.

And signs of spread through the community pointed to as to why cases are far and above anywhere else.

Announcing they will discontinue home delivery of food.

Beginning monday, march 30.

With elementary schools, apartments and mobile home parks across the county becoming points of pickup.

"muhlenberg county doesn't plan to impose any additional restrictions on our residents."

That's despite having the second most number of case?right behind daviess county.

7 in al?with local leaders feeling direction from the governor is enough to help keep the spread under control.

No counties in southern illinois have reported any cases of coronavirus so far?

But at least seven new deaths were announced tonight across illinois.

Toyota plans to extend their shutdown.

But great harvest bread company in owensboro is trying to adapt to the changing times even giving door dash a try for the very first time.

"it's all about us pitching in together and all of us working together as a community and just being kind.

It's makes me feel good that i can, like, reach out and see 'oh, they look like they could use maybe a loaf of bread' and i can give it to them."

Great harvest business owners say they're making sure bread is available for anyone who might need it.

They're also working with grocery stores to make sure those businesses are meeting demand.

Those volunteers donating their time and resources giving back to their communities say they're*also experiencing a shortage of supplies.

Food banks say they're seeing an increase in demand?

Due to the covi?19 pandemic.

The coronavirus has created a real perfect storm for us here at the food bank.

On one hand, the need is increasing exponentially , so there a lot more demand.

At the same time, it affecting our supply.

The indiana national guard is sending muc?

Needed supplies to some of the hardest hit areas of indiana.

The national guard has grouped indiana hospitals and health departments?

Based on their need.

If a facility is in the red zone?

That means they'll run out of supplies in the next 24 hours.

If it is in the yellow zone?

There's about a fou?day supply before the hospital will run out.

Fortunately?

No hospitals have run out of supplies yet?

But there is a growing concern.

It's extremely important... when they wear it."

State health officials sent out an urgent message to clinics, dentists and some physicians?

Asking them to transfer their face masks and other key supplies to local hospitals.
