Police and fire crews blare sirens in support of health workers in Canada

Police and firefighters honk their horns and blare their sirens in front of the Royal Columbian Hospital in British Columbia, Canada on March 25 to say thank you to the health workers during the COVID-19 pandemic.

In the video, the convoy of police and firefighters pass in front of the hospital while some health workers wave to them.

The New Westminster Police Department says they regularly do the "7PM Thank You" in front of hospitals.

They said: "This evening took us past Royal Columbian Hospital with our firefighter friends.

Thanks for all your excellent work." Public displays of support for health workers battling the coronavirus have become a heartwarming and uplifting aspect of the pandemic.
