Aides To Trump On Pandemic Tone: Once More, With Feeling

The coronavirus pandemic is forcing President Donald Trump to show empathy to a frightened American public.

According to Reuters, that's not a small task for a leader more used to in-your-face brashness.

Trump initially dismissed the pandemic as “under control." Now, he's having to adjust his messaging to fit these grisly times.

Despite referring to COVID-19 as a "Chinese virus," Trump recently tweeted that Asian Americans must not be scapegoated.
