Kimt news three's maleeha kamal shows us how.xxx look live: despite the stay at home orderá about 200 cars parked in this ashley furniture parking lot in austin for the grace baptist church service.

The saying goes if there is a will there is a wayg lot into a make shift church.

Pastor dan mielke has always known that this would be the perfect spot to worship.

Pastor sot: "when we first moved before ashley came in we talked about making this building in a church we didn't get the building but we got the parking lot.

" the set up was just like any sunday church service.

There were songs..

Nats: songs 2 seconds ... and worship nats: pastor talking.

People still practiced social distancing by staying in their cars.

Some people kept their windows closed... while others rolled them down while they read their bible.

Those in attendance honked their horns in unity.

Nats: jenn wilson honking horn, more horns.

Jenn wilson is a member of corner stone church in austin.

Today she's here to pray with her friends, coworkers, and the community.

Jenn wilson attendee: "so i think it was really powerful that even though we aren't able to be praying together in one building we are able to pray together under the circumstance due to their creative thinking.

I also think it was awesome that our pastors and other pastors where encouraging people to go out and gather even though it was grace that was doing it."

Doreen nelson attenedee: "it doesn't matter what church it is.

Because that's not what its about.

Its about everybody coming together to give us hope and relying on faith to get us through this."

Pastor sot: "i think for one thing it's letting people know that we are there for them to try and people and meet there needs.

And we want to be able to help in anyway we can."

Look live: they are planning another service next sunday in the same location.
