All california state parks have been closed since saturday due to coronavirus concerns& leaving many boat owners without access to their property... one man told me he's worried about not being able to keep up with the maintenance his boat needs&.

Sot 23 seconds danny peters/houseboat owner: it could be 3 or 4 months or all the way to the summer, we have to have access to our boats at least every two weeks to check our boats, you have boats that range from 60,000 to half a million dollars, people want to make sure their investment is not at the bottom of the lake.

Peters adds that everyone with a boat here still has to pay hundreds in fees every month.

California state park reps tell me they are looking into this issue -- they say they're working closely with local county and public health officials to assess park operations daily.
