People Without COVID-19 Symptoms May Be Spreading The Virus Through Talking And Breathing

New research shows that talking, singing and possibly even breathing too close to people may spread the novel coronavirus.

According to UPI, researchers in China say the spread may happen even before people feel symptoms. In a new study published by the CDC, seven "clusters" of cases of possible speech transmission have been documented.

Researchers note that spreading a virus through speaking or breathing makes it much more difficult to contain.

According to a CDC spokesman, the findings emphasize the importance of social distancing.

Officials stress that, in addition to social distancing, washing hands with soap and water decreases the risk of acquiring the virus.
