This was the sweet moment Tyler proposed to his girlfriend of seven years during the global pandemic after the lockdown ruined his initial plans.
The clip, filmed on March 29 at their home in Sydney, shows the moment Tyler tricked his girlfriend Krysta into thinking she was being in a TikTok challenge when she opens her eyes to see him down on one knee.
Tyler told Newsflare about his plans: "it had been coming up to our seven-year anniversary and I had planned to propose to my girlfriend of seven years, I had originally organised an elaborate plan to propose to her, however due to the current COVID19 situation and no longer being able to go out to most venues and social distancing rules my plan was essentially ruined.
"However, I wasn’t going to let that stop me from asking the woman of my dreams to marry me.
So I had convinced her to close her eyes so I could post a challenge video to my TIKTOK account, she had no idea what was about to happen.
And I popped the question and her reaction could not have been greater.
She said yes!" he continued.
