Practical joker pranks wife by putting up the Christmas tree

This hilarious video shows a practical joker pranking his keyworker wife who comes home from a hard day grafting to find he's put up a CHRISTMAS TREE.Shocked Dawn Beadnell delivers a mouthful of expletives after being greeted by hubby Bobby wearing a big smile and a Santa's hat.The bored production operative, who is currently out of work due to the coronavirus outbreak, decided he would bring a little sparkle into their home at such a dreary time. The 37-year-old said: "Well it's pretty much like Christmas isn't it?

We're stuck at home and everything's shut."The only thing that's missing is the presents and the snow."So when Dawn, 50, went to work, where she prepares food for hospitals, on Friday morning Bobby climbed into the loft of their home in Shiremoor, Newcastle, Tyne and Wear, and took down their six feet tall white artificial tree.Bobby said: "This was great for me, I've never put the tree up before, usually Dawn won't let me near it."He chuckled to himself as he played Christmas tunes and donned a red fluffy hat in April, spending the next hour and a half placing lights, tinsel and baubles on the tree.He said: "It was 9am so I didn't crack open the Bailey's."But mother-of-two Dawn was not so impressed. When she comes home from work later in the day, wearing her bobble hat, she tells him that he has to take it down.Luckily Dawn has a much better sense of humour than it seems. The pair used to run The Blue Bell Inn pub for 15 years and often played jokes on each other.Bobby said: "It was mostly things like hiding stuff from each other, so this is the best joke I've played in a while."Dawn is still saying I need to take the tree down but I'm going to keep it up for as long as I can.

I think it's great."
