BREAKING PREMIER LEAGUE SUSPENDED UNTIL APRIL! #WNTT

Welcome back to WNTT, the show that looks at football on the internet over the past week - we’ve seen Mario Gotze switch lives, SE Dons produce the filthiest piece of skill we’ve ever seen and Spurs boss Jose Mourinho have an awkward encounter with a journalist following his UEFA Champions League exit to RB Leipzig.

The main topic however is COVID-19, and how it is currently affecting the climate of football.

Daniele Rugani became the first high-profile footballer to test positive for the virus, with Serie A potentially being cancelled for the rest of the season.

Kylian Mbappe was tested for the virus and came back as negative, whilst PSG’s behind closed doors game against Borussia Dortmund could be the last CL match for a while - with UEFA contemplating suspending the competition as well as the Europa League indefinitely.

The Premier League is also at risk of being affected, with Man City vs Arsenal being postponed and numerous steps being taken to avoid the spread of Coronavirus - including fans being unable to attend matches and future fixtures being played behind closed doors.

It also puts Euro 2020 into doubt, though UEFA have confirmed they are monitoring the situation and will act accordingly.
