In other basketball coaching news..angola athletic director steve lantz didn't have to go far to find his replacement for former boys basketball head coach ed bentley...in fact, he didn't even have to leave his own gym..on tuesday, lantz announcing brandon appleton as the new head coach of the hornets..appleton of course has spent the last six seasons coaching the angola girls..during that time, he led the lady hornets to 111 wins, two ne-cc regular season championships, and a sectional title..but despite all that success, and a lot of talent coming back, appleton told fox 55 earlier today that it's been his lifelong dream to be a head coach on the boys side..
