On Thursday, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi said she believes and is standing by Joe Biden.
Reuters reports that Pelosi gave a forceful defense of Biden.
It came as some within her party urged Biden to directly address a woman’s sexual assault accusation against him.
Biden's campaign already has denied the accusations.
Tara Reade accused Biden of harassing and forcibly penetrating her with his fingers in 1993.
The allegations have been corroborated by two friends of Reade's and a CNN video from 1993 where her mom called Larry King asking for advice.
Still, Pelosi is not wavering in her support of the former Vice President.
