In the first such media availability in months, new Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany made her first appearance behind the White House briefing room podium on Friday and assured reporters she's committed to providing them "fair and accurate" information about President Donald Trump's "mindset."

"I will never lie to you," McEnany said, asked by a reporter if she'd truthfully convey information from the White House briefing room.

The task force will resume briefings later in the week as the administration enters the reopening phase of the fight against the coronavirus, McEnany added.
