Chynna - that is all true except for governor brown said life as we knew it, a time before masks and physical distacing, will not resume for many months.

This was all laid out at this morning's press conference where she introduced what phase one of reopening would look like.

If a county is approved - they can open the following no earlier than may 15th restaurants with dine in - allowing for social distancing groups up to 25 - with social distancing salons and gyms, with salons only open by appointment and with gloves and a mask used by the stylist "as we reopen parts of our economy, we know and expect that there may be an uptick in new coronavirus cases.

That's why we have to be prepared in every single corner of the state because as we've seen an outbreak can occur anywhere in the state.

If approved for phase one, the county will have to maintain a decreasing number of cases for 21 days before considerations will be made for phase two.

If the cases do not decrease - a county may have to regress to stricer guidelines, or stay in the phase for longer than the 21 days in the next hour you'll hear from leaders at lane county health about what they plan on doing to make sure we are prepared to take on phase one in a safe, healthy, and effective way.
