London based candlemakers Paul Firmin & Niko Dafkos explain their latest project ‘Scents of Normality’ capturing the smell like the places we miss most during lockdown, and comes in three scents, reflecting some of the nation’s favourite hangouts: The Local, The Cinema and The Festival.
From their workshop in Kings Cross, the pair have collaborated with the creative studio Uncommon to create three candles to smell like the local pub, the cinema and a festival.
All the profits are being donated to Hospitality Action’s appeal, helping people in the hospitality industry through the hardships of lockdown and beyond.
