(Part 2 of 2) In today's virtual "Uncorked", we learn about pairing wines with various types of hot dogs.

As we head into summer, it may be time for more hotdogs and more wine.

If it sounds like an odd combination, you may be surprised at how creative chefs are being for this week's virtual uncorked.

Hey everyone it is time for uncorked and we're still talking about hotdogs and wine pairing and tonight we're talking with soms from mississippi.

Mis sissippi doesn't actually have it's own hotdog.

Our chef has made one for our state.

It's going to be a grilled nathan's hotdog lathered with a bourbon molasses glaze.

Served on french bread.

Smoke pork shoulder.

Houes made mississippi red hot sause.

Picked two wines.

A white and red.

Barboursville viognier.

Barboursville vineyards in barboursville, west virginia.

They pick the viognier a littler earlier so it retains a ton of acidity.

Melville syrah from santa barbara.

Chad melville.

Got a lot of fruit.

Second hotdog.

We've made the humble dog.

We were supposed to open a new restaurant humble taco.

Paired love you bunches.

It's fun, easy to drink.

Hot dogs are really one of my favorite foods.

I wanted to capture what alaska has to offer in terms of a hotdog but when i think about it it's all about seafood.

We know reindeer is actually caribou.

Deer sausage.

I grilled it today and if i'm going to do caribou or deer sausage... we got sort of sweeter dog and i wanted to go with a wine that's going to go with something sweet.
