Further notice back to the ruling in the legal battle over coronavirus restrictions.

The state supreme court imposed a deadline on the baker county judge -- who granted a preliminary injunction to invalidate the orders.

The state supreme court says baker county judge -- matthew shirt-cliff has to either throw out the injunction by five p-m on tuesday or explain why he shouldn't do so.

If the judge doesn't alter his ruling --- the state's high court will accept additional briefings on the issue.

Legal experts say this is just the next step in the battle over the governor's coronavirus restrictions.

"i dont think this is terribly unusual to see the reviewing court send the case back to the lower court judge and give them a response to respond" this all started on monday when judge shirt-cliff ruled the governors restrictions null and void.

The governor's office then appealed to the state's supreme court.

There could be oral arguments on the issue by the end
